PRIVACY POLICY

At the Puçol Town Hall we are committed to protecting privacy and the correct use of personal data.

Therefore, this Privacy Policy aims to inform you about the processing of personal data carried out by the Puçol City Council on this website, electronic headquarters and any of its subdomains, microsites and/or mobile applications.

1. Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

The Puçol City Council is the Data Controller, and is advised and supervised for adequate protection by our Data Protection Officer dpo@pucol.es.

2. Why do we process your personal contact information?

The data provided to us, as well as any other data generated during the development of the relationship with the citizen/interested party, may be processed for different purposes depending on the municipal services that are the subject of provision and, in any case, to maintain contact and communication with this party and manage the provision of the services requested and/or provided by this City Council.

In this case, more explicit and specific purposes can be indicated in the information clauses incorporated in each of the data collection methods (web forms, paper forms, voice messages or posters and information notes) for specific cases.

3. What is the legal basis that legitimizes the processing of your personal data? In other words, what condition justifies or enables us to process your personal data?

The legal basis that legitimizes us to process your data may be diverse: in some cases it may be the consent of the interested parties, in others the fulfillment of a legal obligation on our part, in others the fulfillment by the City Council of a mission carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of Public Powers, in others the protection of vital interests and in others the execution of a contract.

Providing the requested data is mandatory as it is essential to process your request and/or provide our services; if you do not provide it, we will not be able to carry it out or provide them.

When the treatment is based on your consent, it will be understood to be unequivocally given, and this contribution will be considered a clear affirmative act on your part, which manifests said consent.

5. How long do we keep your personal data?

In general, we will retain the personal data you provide to maintain a service record and efficiently manage our services, as long as you remain a resident of Puçol and do not request its deletion. Even after a deletion request, the data will be blocked for the necessary period and its processing limited to one of the following cases: complying with any legal or contractual obligations to which we are subject, and/or for the statutory limitation periods for any liabilities on our part, and/or for the exercise or defense of claims arising from our relationship with you.

6. Who can be recipients or assignees of your personal data?

The data you provide may be communicated to third parties for purposes directly related to the legitimate functions of the transferor and transferee, such as to entities or bodies to which there is a legal obligation to make data communications, public or private entities or organizations with which we reach agreements to develop social, cultural or sporting projects or collaboration agreements, etc.

7. What are your data protection rights and how can you exercise them?

To exercise your rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Restriction or, where applicable, Opposition, you may submit a request in writing to the Town Hall's Registry Office: Plaça Sant Joan de la Ribera, s/n, 46530 Puçol (Valencia), through the Electronic Office, or, where applicable, through our Data Protection Officer: dpo@pucol.es

In your written request, you must specify which of these rights you wish to exercise and, in addition, provide a copy of your National Identity Document (NIF) or equivalent identification document. If you are acting through a legal or voluntary representative, you must also provide documentation proving the representation and the representative's identification document.

In any case, you may also file complaints with our Data Protection Officer: dpo@pucol.es, or with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es/).

8. Duration and modification.

The City Council may modify the terms and conditions stipulated herein, in whole or in part, by publishing any changes in the same way that this Privacy Policy appears or through any type of communication directed to Users.

The validity of this Privacy Policy therefore coincides with the time of its exposure, until it is modified in whole or in part, at which time the modified Privacy Policy will become effective.
